Printmaking on PhotoPeach
Check out our slideshow of photos taken on Friday. We spent some time examining pictures of native NZ plants and flowers, then created our own design and transferred this with pencil or pen onto a foam block. This was our first session of using this block to then create multiple prints. Keep following our blog for the finished framed products.
This Blog is a diary of all the things we get up to in our very busy classroom. It is an opportunity for family and friends to be completely involved in the learning that we do every day and it is a great place for us to add learning links that can be useful at home. We hope you enjoy our site, feel free to become a follower and visit us regularly as we update at least twice a week. We also welcome your comments.
When I was putting on a couler of yellow on my print and I used the roller with a little pointy bit and it was pointing down. So I ended up with a huge scratch on my print. On my next one there was a big bit of white in it it looked wierd.Abby
ReplyDeleteI think print making was hard because I couldn't get it all painted so there was white bits on basically all of then but my first one. For the other ones some of the whiteness on it was because I had the pointy bit on the end facing down so I got a big scratch on it witch was really annoying because it didn't just leve a little bit of white but it made it have quite a lot.

Hi Room 4, I like the printmaking because it was fun and challanging. Lanie
ReplyDeletePrint making was fun but also hard I couldn't put on enough ink or I didn't roll with the roller hard enough. Please Mrs O tell me what is it like to do 2,3 or 4 colours?
