As a part of our art unit we also studied the artist Hundertwasser.
His portraits had big round faces that took up a large portion of the page.
They had large eyes shaped like a rugby ball.
These portraits have no necks.
Hundertwasser also use large blocks of bright colours.
We loved creating these self-portraits, using pastels.
I love these colourful Hundertwasser self portraits. Has anyone in the class ever visited the toilets he designed for Kawakawa? I really love his art and architecture.
