Writing using electronic devices!!!!!

Check out the writing in Room 4 today.  Every student was working on the same document at the same time!  Most of us were using iPads, but some students were also working on computers in the classroom.  We have been learning to write a variety of different sentence types and today we were working on improving some basic sentences written about the snow earlier in the week.  Not only were we able to add our own suggestions to the Google Doc but we could get ideas from other students and give and receive feedback about what we were writing - collaboration at it's best!  Best of all for Mrs O, no books to cart home to mark!
"I didn't like how there was a whole lot people writing and sometimes your work got crossed out" - Toby.
"I didn't like it with everybody writing on the same page because it was easy to get mixed up with everybody elses" - Isla
"I liked how everybody's sentences were different" - Anna
"I liked getting inspiration from other people's sentences - not copying them but getting ideas" - Josie
"It was good how everybody had different colours so you could not write over the top of other people" - Lanie
"I like how I can see all of your work on one page and not have to carry a big stack of books home to mark!" - Mrs O

Here are some examples of our improved sentences....
