Our visit to the firestation on PhotoPeach
Last Wednesday we went on a trip with Mrs Howell to visit the Lawrence Fire Station. We have been learning about Firewise all term so it was great to go and see the fire engine and to try on all the of the protective clothing that our firemen and women wear.
This Blog is a diary of all the things we get up to in our very busy classroom. It is an opportunity for family and friends to be completely involved in the learning that we do every day and it is a great place for us to add learning links that can be useful at home. See how we run - Cross Country 2015
Today was our annual school Cross Country held up Gabriels Gully. The track posed many challenges this year after a week of hard frosts and then a shower of rain. Some parts of the track were still frozen solid, other parts were covered in sheets of frozen ice and others had become muddy and slippery. Nothing deterred the runners of room 4 though. They all ran with determination and grit. We were very proud to see everybody giving their very best effort in their respective races. All those weeks of training really paid off - Well done Room 4!

Student of the Week - Floyd
Floyd has been a true stand-out in recent weeks, making huge gains in all areas of his learning. He has worked really hard to be neater and to get all of his work finished. Keep up the fantastic work Floyd!!!!
Student of the Week - Seth
Seth has worked really hard in class over the past few weeks and he has been working especially hard to learn to tell the time. Congratulations Seth, all that hard work is paying off and you are making terrific progress.

Technology Rap
Room 4 have created an entry on behalf of Lawrence Area School for the HP Rural schools technology competition. there are great prizes to be won for our school so we thought we would give it a shot. We really enjoyed creating this short clip of our technology rap.

Congratulations to Kade who was our Room student of the week this week. He impressed Miss Lyon with all of his hard work during Maths as he learned about time! Great work Kade - keep it up!!!

It was impossible to choose just one student of the week this week, especially when EVERYONE was amazing!!!!!! What a fantastic bunch of kids to take on camp! Room 4 you rock!
