Pablo Picasso was one of the most prolific artists
ever, and one of his contributions was cubism, the idea of looking at
something from different angles.
A good way to demonstrate Picasso's cubism is to draw a portrait with both a front and profile view.
Students were encouraged to experiment with patterned elements, as Picasso had done in some of his works of art. The aim was to be able to see both front on and profile views in each portrait.
Take a look at the stunning finished products.
