These students created the following drawings in only about 15 minutes. What a fabulous job they have done.
This Blog is a diary of all the things we get up to in our very busy classroom. It is an opportunity for family and friends to be completely involved in the learning that we do every day and it is a great place for us to add learning links that can be useful at home. We hope you enjoy our site, feel free to become a follower and visit us regularly as we update at least twice a week. We also welcome your comments.

Using Google Drawing to create 3D nets
Thanks to our quadblogging friends at St Mary's School in Rotorua for the idea to try creating 3D nets by using Google Drawing. We have been learning about the properties of 3D shapes - in particular identifying and counting the number of faces, edges and corners that different shapes have. This group of students have also been learning to create nets for 3d shapes.
These students created the following drawings in only about 15 minutes. What a fabulous job they have done.
