Ghost - By Kyle Mewburn - a book review
Ghost is a story about a family who buy a fabulous new house in a fancy part of town. They can't believe their luck when they get the house for a really cheap price. But, when they move in strange things start to happen, and their great house doesn't seem so great any more.
We recommend this book for children aged 5 and up. It is a great story for teachers to read to their class.
"We liked how when Ricky was living at his old house, and every time he pulled his curtains he could see his neighbours, Mr and Mrs May kissing" - Eve and Hollie
"Our favourite part was when the ghost was playing likes of tricks on the family." - Matilda and Cassidy.
"I liked it when the ghost filled all of the locks with bubblegum." - Harry
"My favourite part was when the ghost turned Ricky's cricket whites pink in the wash," - Harvey and Matty
"I liked how Stu was commentating the cricket in the back yard," - Sam
"I liked it when Ricky was walking around the cliff and the ghost pulled, down his pant, tied up his shoelaces, and pulled his jersey over his head," - Tom
"I liked it when we found out how the ghost had died," - Ned
"We liked it when Ricky met his neighbour Fi," - Alec and Jared
This is a really funny book, and we looked forward to reading a new chapter every day.
