This Blog is a diary of all the things we get up to in our very busy classroom. It is an opportunity for family and friends to be completely involved in the learning that we do every day and it is a great place for us to add learning links that can be useful at home. Clay creations
Room 4 had a fantastic day on Friday, spending most of it in the Art Room, experimenting with clay and then using our new skills to create some superb clay pinch pots, clay tiles and own choice creations.
Check out some of the finished products! Hopefully I haven't spoilt some up-and-coming family Christmas gifts from Room 4 students.
Room 4 students experienced great success with creating pinch pots and clay tiles.
We found that the best part of working with clay is that if things aren't turning out how you are hoping, you can just form the clay back into a ball and start again. Imagine doing that with a painting!!!!
