Our next stop was the NZ Sports Hall of Fame, situated above the railway station. It's amazing what is kept in there! Sports memorabilia from many different sporting codes - cricket, athletics, hockey, swimming, cycling, boxing, shearing, golf..... and many more!
After a quick look around we were put into groups of two, with an adult helper, and set off on a hunt to answer quiz questions.
Congratulations to Max, Alesana and Tavi who got the most questions correct.
The last challenge was to see who could ride this bike at the fastest speed. Well done to Kate who managed to get it up to 24km/hr. It certainly looked a lot easier than it actually was to pedal!
